I hope y'all like this year's LeFlore County Gridiron Preview

August 27, 2011

It's always my desire to be different. So, when I was creating this year's LeFlore County Gridiron Preview special section, the first thing I wanted to do was have a different cover photo, and then some. I wanted it to be eye-appealing and catchy.
Then, I wanted to add some things which were not in last year's LeFlore County Gridiron Preview. The obvious one is the story about the new district changes and realignments handed out by the Oklahoma Secondary Schools Activities Association for the next two seasons.
I also put in what the local district standings appeared as when Week 10 ended in early November 2010, and the playoff scores in all classifications from a season ago.
I also added five stories which I know you readers will likely enjoy — the season previews on Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Arkansas and Tulsa (now coached by former Spiro Coach Bill Blankenship) and a feature story on the Dallas Cowboys.
It's my utmost desire that you readers will enjoy this season's LeFlore County Gridiron Preview. I welcome your thoughts. Feel free to email me at sports@poteaudailynews.com, and I'll share it with my fellow co-workers.
