Ida Maebell Clough

Ida Maebell Clough, 88, of Shady Point died Friday, Sept. 20, 2013, in Shady Point. Ida was born Nov. 2, 1924, in Leflore to Rufus L. and Ada Gwin. She was a homemaker. Ida was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Thomas E. French; and beloved husband, Emmett Eugene Clough. Ida was a Christian lady who loved her church. She loved gardening, sewing, cooking and having family gatherings.
Survivors include her sons, Larry French of Shady Point and Lester French of Poteau; many stepchildren; grandchildren; other loved ones and beloved friends.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, at the Gospel Tabernacle, Poteau, with the Revs. Sonny Daniels and Carl Daniels officiating. Burial will be in Summerfield Cemetery. 
Evans and Miller Funeral Home, Poteau, is handling arrangements.
