Inaugural St. Paddy's 5K run/walk has large turnout

Several new runners hit the streets Saturday morning to complete their first marathon during the St. Paddy's 5K run held by the Friends of the Buckley Library.

Friends of the Buckley Library held their first St. Paddy's Day 5K run/walk Saturday morning.
More than 150 people participated in the event.
All proceeds will go toward the completion of the Patrick Lynch Library scheduled to open in May.
Winners were announced in 15 event categories. Over male finisher was Matt Aguero and Hali Repass took the finish line as top female finishers.
