Irene Sue Ray

Irene Sue Ray, 59, of New Blaine, Ark., died Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014 at St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock, Ark. She was born Sept. 25,1954 in Spokane, Wash., to Ralph and Ruby Shaw Starr. She was a homemaker and mother and loved being outside, putting puzzles together, watching movies and most of all spending time with her family and grandkids. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Larry Bowden; and father of her children, Billy Pritchard.
Survivors include her husband, Lee Chandler; four children, Christina Dittmer of North Dakota, Bill Dittmer, Angela Dittmer both of South Dakota and Billie Pritchard of New Blaine; three sisters, Karen Walters, Debbie Wegert and Diane Shaw all of Oklahoma; one brother Oran Sutter of Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Peyton Pemberton, Joel Reynolds, Destiny Reynolds, Drew Lauringer, Allison Lauringer and Renae Lauringer; special cousin, Melva Hyre of Midway.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17, at Midway Assembly of God Church.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations to Cornwell Funeral Home to offset funeral costs.
