It is just like Christmas at my house these days

This time of the year gets my blood pumping. The start of hunting season is one day I look forward to every year. I am almost like a kid at Christmas when Oct. 1 rolls around.
As luck would have it, opening day is on a Monday this year, so I will have to wait until the evening hunt to climb into my stand this year.
I have different tree stands hung for whatever wind direction we have, and my cameras have captured some deer coming through. So, all I need now is for opening day to get here.
Well, I better not get ahead of myself. I still have two stands to hang this weekend at my lease due to some unforeseeable issue during the last few weekends. I will get them up on Sunday, and then I will be ready to hunt on the next weekend.
