Jackie Dale Shelton

Jackie Dale Shelton, 74, of Union City
died after a short battle with cancer.
He was born July 22, 1937, in Shady
Point to Noah and Lula Lee Winter-Shelton.
Jackie served in the U.S. Navy. After his
military service, he retired as a sheet metal
worker at Tinker Field in Oklahoma City.
He also worked as a truck driver and for
Lucky Star Casino.
Jackie was preceded in death by his parents; wife,
Shelby Jean; three brothers and three sisters. He is survived
by his widow, Suzie, of the home; three daughters,
Kris Shelton of the home, Cheryl Noel and Larry of
Yukon, and Tania Miller and Pete of Yukon; one son, Mike
Kennedy of Yukon; two brothers, Ronald Dean Shelton
and Jay Shelton; two stepsons, Jay and Chan Maritt; six
grandchildren; three great grandchildren and a large
extended family and many friends.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug.
5, 2011, at New Dimensions Church, 701 N. Cemetery
Road, Yukon. Memorial donations may be made to the
Lung Cancer Society or Hospice of Oklahoma County.
Arrangements are under the direction of Absolute
Economical Funeral Home, Oklahoma City.
