Jerold Dean Harris

Jerold Dean Harris, 80, of Poteau died Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2012, in Poteau. Jerold was born Nov. 28, 1931, in Gilmore to Elmer O. “Buck” and Oma G. (Ivy) Harris. Jerold was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a machinist.   
Survivors include his wife, Sada Lou of the home; sons and daughters-in-law, Jerold Wayne and Paulla Harris of Hays, Kan., John Charles Harris of Poteau, Corey and Christina Harris of Poteau; daughter and son-in-law, Theresa Lou Todd and Kenny Hess of Poteau; twin sister, Verlene Keck of Cameron; six grandchildren, Scotty, A.J., Christopher, Valerie, Michelle, Peanut; and seven step-grandchildren. 
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 13, in Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, with Rev. Jim Cook officiating. Pallbearers will be Jerold Wayne, John, Corey, Scotty Harris, John Hunter, and Raymond Brasher.
Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
