Jerrie Conner, 69, of Poteau died July 3, 2013, in Tulsa. She was born Sept. 20, 1943, in Talihina to Virgil and Gladys Johnson Sealy. She was a retired registered nurse for St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City. She was a member of Harvest Time Tabernacle and the Golden Harvesters and was very passionate about Mission work of the church.
She is survived by two daughters, Gerii Lynn and husband Michael Littleton of Pocola and Cheryl and husband Tony Myers of Poteau; one son, Joe Calhoun of Monroe; two sisters, Madonna Sue Reed and Bobbie Jane Garmin both of Talihina; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norris Conner.
Service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, July 8, in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith, Ark., with burial in the U.S. National Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
The family will greet friends at the funeral home on from 3-5 p.m. Sunday.
