Justin Wayne Ward, 24, of Poteau went to Heaven Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012.
Justin was born on April 18, 1988. Justin graduated from Wister High School in May 2007. He married the love of his life, Danielle Nicole Ward, on April 15, 2010, at Ellis Chapel in Wister. Justin and Danielle are expecting their first child, Justin Wayne Ward Jr., on Jan.. 31, 2013. Justin will be dearly missed by Copenhagen and Tucker, his two most loyal companions.
Justin was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Frances White Meeks; maternal great-grandparents, Mutt and Iva Meeks, Luther and Ozell White; paternal grandfather, Earnest Ward; cousin, Baby Liam Lyon; sister-in-law, Alissa Lambert; other precious aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Danielle of the home; unborn son, Justin Wayne Ward Jr.; parents, Wayne and Cissy Ward of Wister; brothers, Chass Ward of Cameron, Chad Lucas and Melissa, Dustin Ward, and Tanner Ward of Wister; sister, Makayla Ward of Wister; grandparents, Wayne and Linda Meeks of Wister; grandmother, Virginia Ward of Cameron; grandparents-in-law, H.D. and Camilla Young of Gainesville, Texas; mother-in-law, Devona Mayo of Poteau; father-in-law, Kevin Holt; sisters-in-law, Brooke Lambert of Poteau, Heather Rimer of Wister, Lindsay Lambert; other relatives and loved ones; many beloved friends.
 Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27, at Ellis Chapel Church, Wister. Burial will be in Vaughn Cemetery, Gilmore. Pallbearers will be Clayton Collins, Brandon Burns, Rusty Meeks, Evan Weathers, Cowboy Meeks, Jackie Dobbs and Kevin Luman.
The family will visit with relatives and friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Evans and Miller Funeral Home.
