Keller, Williams win Tenkiller tournament

February 21, 2014

BIG BASS WINNER — Jody Adams shows his big bass winner from Sunday's LeFlore County Bass Club Tournament on Chicken Creek at Lake Tenkiller Photo by Eric Fairless

The LeFlore County Bass Club had its second tournament of the 2014 circuit Sunday at Chicken Creek on Lake Tenkiller. There were 26 boats with 48 anglers who only caught a grand total of 11 fish weighing a collective 31.41 pounds. Each fish caught averaged 2.86 pounds.
Jerrid Keller and Bobby Williams won the event with 8.22 pounds to win $600. Jeff Hardin and Dennis Roper were runners-up (6.85 pounds, $360).
The third-place team was Brad Hall and yours truly, and the reason we were third was because of my big bass weighing 4.34 pounds. It earned us $240 for third place, and me an additional $240 for the big bass winner.
Save the world, recycle.
God bless our troops and veterans.
Have a great weekend.
