Keota Lions take season opener over Arkoma

September 8, 2013

The Arkoma Mustangs rang up several big strikes at Mustang Field on Friday night, but eventually fell to the visiting Keota Lions 62-38.
Despite several penalties and miscues, Arkoma coach Mark Weatherton said, "It's hard to be really displeased. It wasn't like we lost to a bad team.
"They're big, physical and they've got a good running back. They're going to win a lot of games.”
