There are many events occurring in LeFlore County this month. I would guess there is something for everyone to enjoy. I thought I would include a list of events on our website for the convenience of our readers.

• Feb. 11 — Annual school board elections in Poteau, Bokoshe, Panama, Wister, Whitesboro, Red Oak and Smithville; special school bond election in Poteau. Polling places open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

— Disabled American Veterans and Auxiliary potluck, 6 p.m., meeting 7 p.m., DAV building Oklahoma Highway 59 north.
