KTC fires long time employee

Technology Center Board
of Education met Tuesday
evening in Wilburton to
decide the fate of their
District Coordinator of
Marketing and Public
Relations after he was
charged with three crimes
in LeFlore County.
Chad Allen Hull, 46, of
Poteau, was charged with
assault and battery with a
dangerous weapon, domestic
abuse – assault and
battery and stalking stemming
from incidents that
occurred in May involving
him, his ex-wife Barbette
Hull, and a friend of hers.
On the heels of the
charges, along with two
outstanding misdemeanor
warrants in Fort Smith for
criminal mischief first
degree and third degree
battery stemming from an
incident there, Hull was
allegedly notified that he
was being terminated from
KTC.
Hull, who was notified
of the recommendation by
the Superintendent of KTC
that his employment be
terminated on July 31,
after 12 years of employment
with the educational
facility, attempted to keep
his job by requesting a due
process hearing before the
Board of Education.
