Lady Vikings' Brown takes long-range shooting to Campbell

July 18, 2013

Carl Albert State College Lady Viking D. Brown,  a 5-3 sophomore shooting/point guard from Norman signed a letter of intent to play basketball for the next two years with Campbell University, which is an NCAA Division I school. The Camels are a member of the Big South Conference, located in Buies Creek, N.C.
CASC women's coach Jeff Tadtman is excited for Brown to get the opportunity to play at the Division I level.
“'I am happy for D. that she achieved her ultimate goal of playing Division I basketball,” Tadtman said. “She is getting to live her dream out. Hopefully, we were a big part of that. I am always pleased for our program and CASC when one of our players signs to play at another college.”
