Behind solid defense and 50-percent shooting from the field in the second half, the Carl Albert State College Lady Vikings won 74-64 over the Murray State College Lady Aggies Thursday night at Mick Thompson Fieldhouse.
Despite holding a nine-point halftime lead, the Vikings were unable to overcome a slow start in in the second half in their 62-60 loss to the Murray State College Aggies in the second game — which was decided by a buzzer-beating shot.
The Carl Albert teams will play their final pre-Christmas Break games of the season today at Mick Thompson Fieldhouse against Paris, Texas. The women's game will be at 4 p.m. this afternoon, followed by the men's contest at 6 p.m.
