Lady Vikings, Vikings split OCAC openers with Western

Behind strong defensive pressure, which forced the Western Oklahoma State College Lady Pioneers into 27 turnovers, the Carl Albert State College Lady Vikings won their Oklahoma Collegiate Athletic Conference opener 71-51 Monday night at Mick Thompson Fieldhouse.
Despite getting 29 points from Adrion Webber, the Vikings dropped their conference opener 78-77 in overtime to the Pioneers in the second game of Monday night's OCAC doubleheader.
The next games for the Lady Vikings will be this weekend in the Marcus Harvey Classic in on the campus of Penn Valley College in Kansas City, Mo. On Friday, the Lady Vikings will take on host Penn Valley College at noon, then they will plau Livin' the Dream at 10 a.m. Saturday.
The next games for the Vikings will be in the Thanksgiving Classic at Collin County Junior College in Plano, Texas this weekend. On Friday, the Vikings will play New Mexico Military at 4 p.m., followed by a 4 p.m. Saturday game against Clarendon, Texas.
