Late big run pushes Cougars past Vikings

November 19, 2013

DURANT — Collin County, Texas, finished the game on a decisive 24-7 run which proved to be the difference for the Lone Star State team in a 76-54 win over the Carl Albert State College Vikings on Friday night at Southeastern Oklahoma State University's Bloomer Sullivan Fieldhouse.
The Lady Vikings and Vikings both played on Monday night on the road against the Bacone College junior varsity in Muskogee.
The next game for both teams after Monday's game is the Oklahoma Collegiate Athletic Conference openers against archrival Eastern Oklahoma State College on Thursday at EOSC's Claud C. Dunlap Fieldhouse. The women's game will be at 6 p.m., followed by the men at 8 p.m.
