Leflore boys capture third place at Calvin, thanks to no-hitter

CALVIN — The Leflore Savages baseball team brought home some hardware from western Hughes County on Saturday as they blanked the host Calvin Bulldogs 12-0 to win the third-place game of the Calvin Tournament.
The Savages lost a heart-breaking 3-2 semifinal on Friday to the Stuart Hornets.
In the third-place game, David Morris Jr. got his first win of the season as he threw a no-hitter with two strikeouts in three innings of work.
