Leflore boys fall to Kinta in Class B District Tournament championship

February 12, 2013

KINTA — The good news is the Leflore Savages basketball team knew it was going to get a home playoff game Thursday in the Class B Regional Tournament. The bad news is that game will be an elimination game.
The Savages lost 55-39 to the Kinta Eagles in the title game of the Class B District Tournament on Saturday night.
The Savages (13-11) still advanced to the Class B Regional Tournament as district runners-up. They will meet Eagletown at 3 p.m. Thursday on their home floor, and must win three games in three days to make next week's Class B Area Tournament at Kingston.
