LeFlore County under winter weather advisory

According to the National Weather Service: Winter weather advisory is in effect from oon today until 10 p.m. tonight for LeFlore, Latimer, Haskell, Pushmatah, Choctaw, Pittsburg and Sequoyah Counties in Oklahoma. In Arkansas counties included in the advisory are: Sebastian, Crawford and Franklin Counties.

HAZARDOUS WEATHER...
* LIGHT SNOW WILL DEVELOP ACROSS SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA THIS AFTERNOON
AND MOVE INTO WEST-CENTRAL ARKANSAS LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND
EVENING.

* 1 TO 2 INCHES OF SNOW ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED THROUGH 10 PM CST
THIS EVENING.

* ROADS IN THE ADVISORY AREA MAY BECOME SLICK AND HAZARDOUS...
ESPECIALLY ON BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES AND NON-TREATED SURFACES.

* A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT WINTRY PRECIPITATION MAY
ACCUMULATE ON ROADWAYS.

* USE EXTRA CAUTION IF DRIVING. ATTEMPT TO STAY ON TREATED
ROADWAYS. EXPECT TRAVEL DELAYS.
