Leflore girls remain alive in Class B playoffs, but Bokoshe boys eliminated

CLEVELAND, Okla. — The Leflore Lady Savages stayed alive in the Class B playoffs with a 49-23 win over the Paden Lady Pirates in the consolation side of the regional tournament Thursday afternoon.
The Lady Savages will play in the consolation semifinals here at 6:30 tonight with the winner playing for the consolation championship here at 1:30 p.m. Saturday for the right to go to next week's Class B Area Tournament at Sand Springs.
The news wasn't as good for the Bokoshe Tigers, who were eliminated 56-47 by the Paden Pirates, to finish the season at 1-20.
The Lady Tigers and the Savages played Thursday night in the regional semifinals for the right to play in Saturday night's finals, and automatically earn a berth to next week's area tournament in Sand Springs.
