Lenora A. Morsund, 78, of Poteau died Wednesday, April 18, 2012, in Heavener. 
Lenora was born Aug. 20, 1933, in Cameron to J.H. and Gussie (Sharp) Higginbotham. She was a homemaker. Lenora was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, John Morsund. She worked in the craft and fabric department at Walmart for more than 20 years. She loved her family very much and her church family. She loved to read her Bible, finding strength from the scriptures. She loved nature and seeing the flowers bloom.
Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Ruth Ann Morsund and Jerry Millsaps, and Elizabeth Morsund of Poteau; sons and daughters-in-law, Arthur and Keva Morsund of Clarksville, Ark., John Lee and Kimberly Morsund of Duncan; seven grandchildren, Joshua and Amy Millsaps, Jeremy Millsaps of Juneau, Alaska, Kurt Morsund of Poteau, Johnathan and Jatia Morsund, Anthony Morsund of Clarksville, Ryan Lewis, Sierra Morsund of Duncan; seven great-grandchildren, Jessica, Cody, Jade and Calvin Millsaps, Braeden and Spring Morsund, Easton Francis; brother and sister-in-law, Leroy and Karen Higginbotham of Haskell; nephew, Warren Higginbotham of Oklahoma City; niece, Barrie Higginbotham of Tulsa; other relatives and loved ones; many beloved friends.
Services will be 10 a.m. Monday, April 23, at Bethel Baptist Church, Wister, with Rev. Clyde Steelman officiating. Burial will be in Knothole/Fairhill Cemetery, Cameron, with Rev. Jerry Millsaps officiating at graveside.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Gideons International by calling the funeral home.
The family will visit with relatives and friends from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at Evans and Miller Funeral Home, Poteau.
