Leslie Earl Odom, 83, of Poteau died Wednesday Aug. 6, 2014, in Poteau.
Leslie was born Oct. 5, 1930, in Poteau to Henry Archie and Callie (Wiley) Odom. Leslie was a welder. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, James Odom, Henry Odom and Pauline Scott.Â
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie of the home; sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne and Patty Odom of Broken Arrow, Charles and Debbie Odom of Rose, David and Loraine Odom of Poteau; Mitchell Odom of Broken Arrow; daughter and son-in-law, Patty and Mark Roberts of Tulsa; sister, Mattie Odom of Poteau; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, two sisters-in-law, a large extended family and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, at Calvary Assembly of God, Poteau, with Brother Mark Hodges and Stan Odom officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Larry Odom, Stanley Odom, Steve Odom, Gary Odom, Curtis Odom, Mark Roberts. Honorary pallbearers will be Ron Cooper, Everett Stacy, Merl McAlhaney and Robert Harper.
Arrangements are under the direction of Evans and Miller Funeral Home.Â
