Leta Marjorie McCroskey, 61, of Poteau died Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011, in Poteau. Leta was born Jan. 31, 1950, in Waco, Texas, to Charles Leighton and Vertie Novelia (Dodson) Stephens Warrick. She was a material expediter at Whirlpool. Leta was preceded in death by her father; stepfather, John Warrick; four stepbrothers, John Jr., Doug, Bruce and David Warrick.
Survivors include her husband, Charlie, of the home; mother Novelia “Novi” Warrick of Poteau; twin sister, Rita Cooper of Lake Havasu, Ariz.; brother, Charles Stephens of Scappoose, Ore.; stepbrothers, Bob Warrick of Crestline, Calif., and Wayne Warrick of Marrietta, Ga.
Services will be at 11 am, Wednesday, Nov. 9, at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, with the Revs. Jim Cook and David Hardin officiating. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery, Poteau.
The family will be at the funeral home Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. to visit with friends and relatives.
