Literacy Council Student of the Month

Nena Santiago earned the distinction of being named Student of the Month for
August as a participant in the Literacy Initiative Program of the Literacy Council
of LeFlore County. The award is based on attendance in the 30-hour per week program
which enhances reading, writing, math and life skills instruction. Santiago
attended 137 hours of instruction during the month of August. Santiago (center) is
