Lloyd Hale

Lloyd Hale, 81, of Panama died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, in Fort Smith, Ark. Lloyd was born April 3, 1931, in Bokoshe to James W. and Mollie (Poteet) Hale. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Korea. Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Loretta; sister, Berniece; and brothers, Haskell and Mousey.
Survivors include his daughters and son-in-law, Susie Hale of Panama, Tammy and Don Frayne of Eufaula; sons and daughters-in-law, Mickey and Sherry Hale, Billy and Sandy Hale, Jimmy and Kim Hale all of Panama, Shawn Hale of the home; 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Imogene and Jack Harris of Panama, Evalene Minor of Shady Point, Marie and Allen Real of Panama; three brothers, Kenneth Hale of Panama, Carl Hale, Cotton and Snodine Hale of Spiro; and other relatives and loved ones. 
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, March 4, at the First Assembly of God in Panama with the Revs. Brian Smith and Victor Sweet officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery, Spiro. Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Scotty Harrison, B.J. Hale, Brandon Hale, Gordon Frayne, Lloyd Frayne, Dalton Wilson, Harlan Hale and Darren Hale.
The family will visit with relatives and friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Evans and Miller Funeral Home, Poteau.
