Local teams off to good starts

After a full week of high school basketball in LeFlore County, several teams are off to fast starts.
Both Howe and Leflore teams are 3-0, while the Whitesboro Bulldogs are 2-0.
The Whitesboro Lady Bulldogs got their first win Friday night, while last Tuesday night the Wister Lady Wildcats picked up win No. 1 on the season. Also on Friday night, the Cameron Yellowjackets picked up their first victory of the season, getting a road win at McCurtain.
Bokoshe Games Rescheduled
The Bokoshe High School basketball season openers that were scheduled for Friday night at McCurtain have been rescheduled, since the Tigers played their football season finale this past Friday night.
The games have been rescheduled for Feb. 6.
Also, Bokoshe's games at Cameron for Nov. 19 have been moved to Feb. 11.
Cameron at Wister, 6:30 and 8 p.m.
McCurtain at Howe, 6:30 and 8 p.m.
Buffalo Valley at Whitesboro, 6:30 and 8 p.m.
Leflore at Kinta, 6:30 and 8 p.m.
Cameron at Hartford, Ark., 6 and 7:30 p.m.
Whitesboro at Red Oak, 6:30 and 8 p.m.
Pittsburg at Leflore, 6:30 and 8 p.m.
Wister at Smithville, 6:30 and 8 p.m.
Panola at Cameron, 6:30 and 8 p.m.
