Lomega finishes strong to defeat Bokoshe girls; Lady Tigers in must-win situation for remainder of weekend

February 16, 2013

PADEN — After a strong start by the Bokoshe Lady Tigers in Thursday night's Class B Regional Tournament game, the Lomega Raiderettes finished the contest the same way — and then some.
After falling behind in the opening period, the Raiderettes stormed past the Lady Tigers over the final three quarters en route to a 95-55 victory to reach tonight's championship game against Midway at 8 p.m. at Ada High School's Cougar Activity Center.
The Lady Tigers (16-7) played Milburn on Friday night at Cougar Activity Center in the regional tournament consolation semifinals. The winner will play for the consolation championship against Friday's Paden-Victory Life Academy winner at 1:30 this afternoon in Ada. Today's winner will advance to next week's Class B Area Tournament in Kingston.
