Looking out for the animals

October 8, 2013

CASC Students (l.to r.) Jacob Lawson, Makayla McGehee and Cheyenne Spencer visited the shelter recently and donated cat food, treats, leashes, toys, and bedding they purchased by soliciting donations to help the 60-plus rescued animals awaiting adoption at Poteau Valley Humane Society. Spencer will be competing in the Miss CASC Pageant held in November and has chosen animal abuse as her platform.
