Lots of fishing going on

June 20, 2013

June is a busy month around our house. With Cash playing on four baseball teams and one basketball team and Koby playing on three baseball teams and one basketball team, we have only had two days in June without a game of some kind. Both of those dates were due to rainouts. We needed the rain, but my Preps baseball team sure needs to play some games, too.

This week, we had one of those rainouts, so Koby and I met up with Chuck Restine for a little fishing in Chuck’s honey-hole over near Bokoshe. We caught a few fish including a 2.5-pound chunk that Koby reeled in. Cash has been begging to go, but he was over at a friend’s and missed out on this trip. That boy loves to fish, and just can’t get enough of it.
As soon as my schedule slows down a bit after June ends, I am going to take him on an all-day outing. My boat has not been in the water yet, but I will change that next month. It will be hot, but a bad day of fishing is still better than a good day at work.
Have a great week!
