Loyce R. Hall, 68, of Poteau died
Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011, in Poteau. Loyce
was born June 14, 1943, in Big Cedar to
the Rev. Carl and Mellie (Jones) Pugh.
Loyce worked at Country Boy Furniture
for 20 years. She was a member of the Free
Will Baptist Church in Panama, where she
served as church clerk for eight years.
Loyce loved her church. She loved to sing and going to the
Saturday Night Jamboree. She was preceded in death by
her husband, Billy Don McAtee; her only daughter, Tami
Branstetter Gottlieb; nephew, Tony Terry; and her parents.
Survivors include her sister and brother-in-law, Joyce
and Don Riddle of Poteau; daughters, Donna Ross, Sandy
Ellis and husband, Ken of Poteau; son, Billy Earl McAtee
and wife, Randi of Rufe; six grandchildren; three greatgrandchildren;
three great-great-grandchildren; nephews,
Mike, David and Ray Terry and their families; special
friend, Joyce Sears; other relatives and loved ones; many
beloved friends and her church family.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, at Panama
Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. David Nolan officiating.
Burial will be in Rufe Cemetery, Rufe. Pallbearers will
be Kevin Butler, Robert Troutman, Larry Milligan, Terry
Lovell, Brian Toney and Brant Toney
The family will visit with relatives and friends at the
funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Thursday.
