Lucille E. Midgley

Lucille E. Midgley, 86, of Poteau went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 23, 2012, in Poteau.
Lucille was born March 7, 1926 in Stuart to James and Pauline (Carpenter) Casey.  She was a homemaker. Lucille was a member of the Church of God Seventh Day in Wister. She was a woman of God.  Lucille was married to Harrell Midgley on October 4, 1945, in Stockton, Calif.; his devoted wife for 66 years.
She was a licensed back seat driver. Lucille was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. 
Survivors include her husband, Harrell of the home; sons and daughters-in-law, Scotty Midgley, Vernon and Ruby Midgley of Poteau, Marshall and Charlotte Midgley of Stockton, Calif.; grandchildren, Vernon and Kathleen Midgley, Tonya and Kenneth Parks, Marcy and Jason Head, Lorie and Steve Rutledge, Matt and Lisa Sanders, Kenny and Olivia Midgley, Mitch and Sondra Sampson, Tasha and Kyle Callahan, Kristin and Kyle Maslakow; 22 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Midgley of Wister; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and loved ones; many beloved friends.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 26, at Wister Church of God Seventh Day with Rev. Lamar Ford and Rev. Jack Covey officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Poteau. Pallbearers will be Fred, Kenny, Vernon Jr., Leon, George, Lance, Vernon, Scotty, Marshall and Cliff Midgley. 
The family will visit with relatives and friends from 4-6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
