Man charged with possessing child pornography scheduled for court

Marty Ray Hester, 52, of Hodgen, is scheduled to appear in District Court November 8, at 9 a.m. for sounding docket.Hester was formally charged on October 18, with aggravated possession of child pornography and two counts of lewd and indecent acts to a child under the age of 16 stemming from an incident that allegedly occurred at his business, Computer Helper, in Poteau.The discovery of the child pornography occurred after computers, software and surveillance equipment were seized from his business after two juvenile females made accusations of sexual assault. More than 2,400 images of child pornography were found on the seized computers and electronic equipment according to the Computer Forensic Lab report completed by the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.
