Man jailed after ex-wife accuses him of rape

Adam Gilbert Piaquadio, 37, of Fort Smith, is being held in the LeFlore County Detention Center on charges of rape and assault with a dangerous weapon.

The LeFlore County District Attorney's Office filed charges against a man accused of raping his ex-wife.
Adam Gilbert Piaquadio, 37, of Fort Smith, is accused of sexually assaulting his ex-wife while she slept. According to the affidavit, he also took pictures of the incident. When his ex-wife woke up she reportedly screamed for help and called 911.
Police say the victim was standing in the front yard when they arrived and she claimed Piaquadio had tried to run over her with his vehicle as he was leaving.
Piaquadio was arrested and is being held in the LeFlore County Detention Center on a $20,000 bond.
