Marie F. "Reedy" Gothard

Marie F. "Reedy" Gothard, 88, died Tuesday, July 24, 2012. She was born Dec. 14, 1923, in Colorado to Eva E. and Joseph B. Finley.  She was married to Arch G. Gothard II, in Wheatridge, Colo., on April 11, 1939.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and a brother. She is survived by her daughter, Cherlyn G. Wells and her husband, John; granddaughter Natali R. Bruce and husband, Andy; grandson, C. Troy Hiebsch and wife, Heather; son, Arch G. Gothard III, and his children, Erin Gothard,  Arch G. Gothard IV, Alissa Gothard, Jon Gothard and Kaitlyn Gothard; her daughter, Tina G. Barrett and husband, Thomas, and their children, Tanya Heller and husband, Edward, Christopher Stoecker and wife, Eliza  and Lindsay Hensen and her husband, Eric; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She will be remembered by all as a wonderful wife, mother grandmother and friend.  She will be greatly missed.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, at Poteau First United Methodist Church, with visitation to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be given to the Kiamichi Tech Center Foundation or the Women’s Crisis Center.
