Maxcine Warren, 56, of Poteau died Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012, in Tulsa.
Maxcine was born Jan. 19, 1956, in Parkin, Ark., to John Jr. and Cora Lee (Spencer) Smith. She was a teacher, counselor, and LRC/student support tutor/developmental coordinator for Carl Albert State College, Poteau. Maxcine was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Vernell Willis; and niece, Angelina Willis.
Survivors include her husband, Terry Warren Sr. of the home; daughters and sons-in-law, Meicha and Travion Smith of Tatum, Texas, Kimberly Price of Poteau, Stephanie Kaywood Ivore and Jr. Ivore; sons, Terrance and Kimberly Warren, Terry Jr. and Crystal Warren of Poteau, Dereck Warren of Broken Bow, Erick and April Warren of Broken Bow; grandchildren, Kyshaun Smith, Alexus Smith, Daymien Smith, Vanessa Warren, Jazmine Warren, Braya Warren, Shayla Warren, Elijah Price, Jada Price, Amisha Warren, Kiara Warren, Dauntay Warren, Caden Warren, Ieysha Cheney, Ilayna Cheney, Keynen Warren, Kaysen Warren; brothers, John L. Willis of Parkin, James â€śEdâ€ť Smith of Wynne, Ark., Johnny Smith of Fort Smith, Ark.; sisters, Willie â€śBillâ€ť Smith of Denver, Colo., Martha Ann â€śBessieâ€ť Hubbard of Colt, Ark., Bertha Williams of Fort Smith, Glenda â€śRayâ€ť Williams of Wynne; other relatives and loved ones.
Â Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at First United Methodist Church in Poteau with Superintendent J.J. Watson officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Nolan Jr., Richard Smith, Sterling Warren III, Cavin Smith, Tartis Warren Jr., Artis Warren. Honorary pallbearers will be Glendale Collins, Carl Moore, Mickel Willis, Timothy Cole, Ricky Hubbard and Ryan Richardson
The family will visit with relatives and friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Evans and Miller Funeral Home.
