Maxine Hembree

Maxine Hembree, 84, of Heavener died Monday, April 23, 2012. Maxine was born April 15, 1928, in Heavener to Edward and Elizabeth Hall. She was a graduate of DeQueen High School and attended Henderson State College. Maxine was a member of First United Methodist Church in Heavener, worked at State National Bank and was a Cub Scout den mother. She was a member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha Sorority.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Hembree.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Susan Hembree of Heavener, Ed and Ana Hembree of Edmond; one granddaughter, Whitney and husband Adam Blaylock of Monroe; brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Donna Ann Hall of Broken Arrow; two nieces, Martha Tehan of Edmond, and Robin Danas of Los Angeles; three nephews, Mark Pantier of Oklahoma City, Brian Pantier of Rogers, Ark., Bob Pantier of Los Angeles; and special friend, Paula Fawn Daniels of Heavener.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 26, at First United Methodist Church with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery, Heavener.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Dowden Funeral Home, Heavener.
