While the games were closer than in December when the Poteau High School basketball teams played McAlester at Brumley Gym, unfortunately for the Pirates and Lady Pirates the outcomes were the same Thursday night at Sherman Floyd Fieldhouse.
The Pirates suffered a 60-58 loss to the Buffaloes, while the night began with the Lady Buffaloes beating the Lady Pirates 56-49.
