Missouri issues Amber Alert; driver may come to Oklahoma

An Amber Alert has been issued in Missouri in connection with the assault and abduction of 5-year-old Abigail Berthoff on Wednesday morning in Poplar Bluff, Mo.
She is a biracial female with black hair and brown eyes and last was seen wearing a pink nightgown.
The suspected kidnapper is Jeffrey Shelton, 45, who is a white male, believed to be 6 feet, 175 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes. Shelton is a registered sex offender and officials believe he may travel to Oklahoma from Poplar Bluff.
Shelton is believed to be driving a silver 2001 Nissan Pathfinder Armada with Missouri license plate PJ8Z5M. The vehicle will have a broken front windshield and a "Barrel Racing" decal on the back windshield.
