CAMERON — Cameron's Alex Humphries threw a one-hit shutout as the Yellowjackets run ruled the Howe Lions 14-0 in three innings.
Alex Humphries only struck out two batters but only Howe's James Hill could scratch a hit of the Cameron starter.
The Yellowjackets jumped out to a 9-0 lead after an inning.
Leflore 8, Panola 0: In Panola, Leflore pitcher Caleb Smith pitched a two-hit shutout with eight strikeouts for the Savages.
Leflore broke a scoreless tie with a three-run third inning, highlighted by Smith's two-run home run — his first homer of the fall. Then, a five-run fourth inning put the game into run-rule status.
Wister 16, McCurtain 3; Wister 12, McCurtain 0: In McCurtain, the Wildcats bounced back from a rough title-game loss to Red Oak at the Carl Albert State College Classic with a pair of Green Valley Conference wins against the Bulldogs.
In the opener, the ’Cats rallied from a 2-0 first-inning deficit to win going away. A four-run third inning put Wister ahead 4-2, then a eight-run seventh inning put the game away.
In the nightcap, the ’Cats broke a scoreless tie with a 10-run second inning.
Austin Vanhook (3-0) kept his record unblemished as he fanned eight batters and threw a no-hitter.
