McCURTAIN — The Leflore Savages returned to their winning ways with an 11-2 road win Monday afternoon against the McCurtain Bulldogs.
Leflore had Tuesday's game at Cameron canceled due to a back-to-school bash. Leflore Coach Tony Marris said the game is trying to be rescheduled, but has not been done so at this time.
Red Oak 10, Whitesboro 0: In Red Oak, the Bulldogs suffered a two-hit shutout loss to the Eagles.
Singles by Colton Sisemore and Hunter Tidwell was all the ’Dogs could muster against Red Oak pitching.
Smithville 8, Howe 0; Haworth 11, Howe 2: In Smithville, the Lions (0-2) were two-hit by Smithville's pitcher as singles by Stephen Helmandollar and Dakota McCoy were the only hits Howe got.
In the battle of Lions, Haworth took advantage of Howe errors to rally from a 2-0 deficit to get the win.
