Monday's High School Baseball Roundup

PANOLA — The Leflore Savages baseball team got the second half of the season off on the right foot by handing the Panola Bearcats a 12-4 loss Monday afternoon.
The Savages scored six runs in the first inning to put the game away.
Stigler 4, Pocola 0: In Stigler, the Panthers broke a scoreless tie with a four-run fifth inning, with all runs unearned due to five errors by the Indians.
Gore 19, Arkoma 0: In Arkoma, the Pirates scored twice in the first inning, five runs in the second inning and 12 runs in the third.
Editor's note — Several Monday games were postponed due to wet fields — Talihina at Howe, Westville at Heavener and Buffalo Valley and Smithville at Whitesboro. No make-up dates have been set.
