Monday's High School Boys Basketball Roundup

McCURTAIN — The Leflore Savages got their 10th win of the season Monday night, beating the homestanding McCurtain Bulldogs 61-54.
The Savages led 17-10 after a period and never lost the lead.
Leflore will be idle until 7:30 p.m. Saturday when they will play the winner of Thursday night's Howe-Cave Springs game for the Gold Bracket title of the Eastern Oklahoma State College Classic at EOSC's Claud C. Dunlap Fieldhouse.
Quinton 87, Cameron 35: In Cameron, the Yellowjackets (6-3) were down just five points, 21-16, after one period to the Savages. However, from there, it was all the visitors.
Quinton outscored Cameron 23-4 in the second quarter to take a 44-20 lead at halftime.
The Savages then outscored the ’Jackets 43-15 in the second half.
Editor's note: Arkoma's road game at Porum did not take place Monday night. It has been rescheduled for 8 p.m. Jan. 3.
