PANAMA — Panama pitcher Hannah Goines threw a no-hitter as the Lady Razorbacks blanked the Whitesboro Lady Bulldogs 8-0 in Panama's home opener Monday afternoon.
Goines struck out four batters and did not allow a hit.
Howe 7, Arkoma 0: In Arkoma, the Lady Lions spoiled the home opener for the Lady Mustangs.
Howe freshman pitcher Morgan Hillebrand threw a five-hit shutout with seven strikeouts.
Heavener 8, Cameron 2: In Cameron, the Lady Wolves jumped out to a 6-0 lead by the third inning as Heavener scored once in each of the first two innings, then added four runs in the third inning.
Panama 9, Arkoma 0: Aug. 13 in Panama, the Lady Razorbacks broke a scoreless tie on opening day with a four-run third inning.
Spiro 14, Stilwell 7: In Spiro, the Lady Bulldogs broke a 3-all tie with a five-run second inning to take the lead for good at 8-3 after two innings.
Muldrow 10, Pocola 4: In Muldrow, the Lady Bulldogs, who trailed 3-1 in the second inning, scored six runs to take a 7-3 lead which they never relinquished.
Red Oak 8, Wister 0: In Red Oak, the Lady Eagles took advantage of miscues by the Lady Wildcats as only one of Red Oak's runs was earned.
