Monday's High School Softball Roundup

March 26, 2014

POCOLA — The Wister Lady Wildcats began the post-spring break portion of their slow-pitch softball season with a 5-3 road win over the Pocola Lady Indians on Monday afternoon.
The Lady Wildcats got all five runs in the second inning to break a scoreless deadlock.
A Courtney Hargrove two-run double in the fifth inning cut the deficit to 5-3, but the Lady Indians got no closer.
Editor's note: Nothing was reported on the Cameron-Keota game by press time, but the details will be reported in Thursday's edition. The Panama-Heavener game did not take place Monday due to Panama's senior trip, with no make-up date set. Talihina has canceled all its games this week.
