WISTER — The Wister Lady Wildcats got the week underway in fine fashion with a pair of wins in their home three-way.
The Lady ’Cats beat Cameron 12-7 and Spiro 13-3. The middle game went to Cameron, which defeated Spiro 14-5.
Heavener 10, Wilburton 0; Heavener 20, Eufaula 0: In Wilburton, the Lady Wolves stayed perfect with a pair of road wins.
In the victory over the host Lady Diggers, the Lady Wolves scored three runs in the first inning, twice in the second and five runs in the third.
In the rout of Eufaula, a 12-run third inning for Heavener broke the game open after the Lady Wolves had a single run in the opening inning and seven runs in the second.
Editor's note: Due to Monday's education rally at the state capital in Oklahoma City, Pocola's home game with Oktaha was canceled, with no make-up date set as of this time.
