Monday's High School Softball Roundup

RED OAK — Things did not look good for the Poteau Lady Pirates in Monday's game against the McAlester Lady Buffaloes. Little did the Lady Buffs know that was right where the Lady Pirates wanted them.
Poteau rallied from a 5-0 deficit to down McAlester 6-5 in eight innings.
Heavener 4, Wister 0: In Wister, the Lady Wolves (9-2) broke a scoreless tie with a single run in the third inning and three runs in the fourth inning.
Arkoma 16, Gans 4; Arkoma 16, Gans 4: In Arkoma, big first innings helped the Lady Mustangs (5-7) win their third straight game.
Spiro 4, Stigler 3: In Spiro, the Lady Bulldogs (10-2) scored three runs in the first inning and once in the third inning for a 4-0 lead.
Panama 6, Vian 2; Sequoyah-Tahlequah 9, Panama 0: In Vian, the Lady Razorbacks (7-5) split their games in Monday's three-way.
Keota 11, Howe 6; Keota 15, Howe 5: In Keota, in a battle of Lady Lions, this twinbill went the way of host Keota.
Battiest 11, Whitesboro 0; Haworth 12, Whitesboro 5: In Battiest, the losses dropped the Lady Bulldogs to 0-4.
Editor's Note — Talihina did not play in its three-way at Tushka along with Rattan due to not having enough players because of an injury. Also, nothing was reported on Leflore's game at Pittsburg.
