WISTER — One big inning decided Monday afternoon's game between the Arkoma Lady Mustangs and the Wister Lady Wildcats.
Down 7-6 after four innings, the Lady ’Cats erupted for an eight-run fifth inning to help them outlast the Lady Mustangs 14-11.
Leflore 9, Bokoshe 7; Bokoshe 11, Leflore 1: In Leflore, the Lady Tigers played their first games of the season due to a problem with lack of numbers.
In the opener, Allison Todd had a triple and three runs batted in for the Lady Savages, who won for the first time this season.
In the nightcap, Haylee Tudor was 4-for-4 with four runs batted in to lead Bokoshe to victory.
Howe 12, Cameron 4: This game was moved to Cameron due to wet fields at Howe, which seemed to fit the Lady Lions just fine.
Thanks to a four-run fourth inning and a five-run fifth inning, the Lady Lions, whose game Tuesday with McCurtain was postponed and will not be rescheduled, clawed their way to a run-rule victory over the Lady Yellowjackets.
