In late January, David Holt, Carl Albert State College softball coach, signed Poteau’s Brenna Vise to play for his Lady Vikings. Add four more local players to that fold.
Holt signed Vise’s teammate, Kaylee Kingrey, and Wister’s Bryanna Warren on Tuesday morning. On the same day Vise signed, Holt signed Spiro’s Kaylee Cox and Braylin Gray.
“It shows how well LeFlore County softball is going,” he said. “I think we got some quality players and quality kids. We thought we were going to get two more girls, but we didn’t get them. So, there was even more than what we were expecting to get.”
