Mossie Lene Farrar, 88, of Cameron died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, in Poteau. Mossie was born April 7, 1924, in Liberty Hill (Cameron), to Tom and Pearl (Fox) Anderson. She was a beautician. Mossie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lenard Farrar; sister, Lois Dunlap; and granddaughter, Fatima.
Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Barbara Mackey of Cameron, Donna and Charles Hollingsworth of Cameron; sons and daughter-in-law, Larry Farrar of Cameron, Steve and D. Farrar of Ketchum; three sisters, Daisy Holt of Rogers, Ark., Fleta Anderson of Cameron, Berniece Hurst of Poteau; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and loved ones.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25, at Liberty Hill Baptist Church, Cameron, with the Rev. Travis Cook and James Easley officiating. Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery, Cameron. Pallbearers will be Eric Hollingsworth, Jason Farrar, Brad Farrar, Gary Stroud, Wayne Swindell, and Bryan Evans.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Liberty Hill Baptist Church Building Fund.
The family will be at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Thursday to visit with relatives and friends.
